Kachal Bachal is a very popular restaurant where Chef Shuji Tamura has mastered original Indian cuisine. If you love curry, you must visit this top-class Indian curry restaurant in Tokyo at least once. The spice dishes as well as curries such as butter chicken and pork vindaloo are superb. The at-home atmosphere and customer service of the staff are also excellent.

Thank you again for inviting me to this gathering of gourmet Instagrammers. The venue was "Katchal Batchal," a restaurant that appears at the top of the list when searching for curry in the food log. Five of us visited the restaurant and ordered Cheese Kulcha (3 plates) Boneless Tandoori Chicken (5 pieces) Lamb chops (5 pieces) The back menu that the manager ordered for us in advance Butter Chicken Curry White Oyster Curry Shrimp Curry from South India Spicy Mutton Curry Pork Vindal Curry Nan (3 dishes) Rice (2 plates) The cheese kulcha, tandoori chicken, and lamb chops, which we ordered as appetizers, are must-haves. I know there are different tastes in curry in terms of ingredients and spiciness, but if you are not a fan of curry, you should definitely try the shrimp curry. After ordering delicious food and drinks, the bill was about 4,500 yen per person (^o^)

Located within walking distance from Shin-Otsuka Station and JR Otsuka Station, this Michelin and Tabelog hundred best regular Indian restaurant stands on the second floor along Minami-Otsuka Street. The concept is 'a place to drink shochu with curry.' In the evening, it is perfect to enjoy drinks with spicy dishes. The signature dish is Pork Vindaloo for 1300 yen. This pork curry originates from Goa in Western India and features a superb combination of acidity, sweetness, and aroma using Aomori's apple pork (shoulder loin). Other offerings include Butter Chicken for 1400 yen, Spicy Mutton for 1400 yen, South Indian Shrimp Curry for 1400 yen, Chicken Achari for 1300 yen, and Chicken Biryani for 1300 yen, providing a diverse lineup. The shochu selection includes a botanical barley shochu from Kagoshima, which pairs well with spices, and the boneless Tandoori Chicken and Chicken Malai Tikka for 560 yen are perfect as snacks. Due to the small interior centered around an L-shaped counter, it is suitable for solo drinking, quick drinks, adult spice drinking, and curry dates. Curry restaurant in Otsuka [Katchal Batchal]. Curry restaurant with a 4.06 rating on the food log 🍛, 2nd place in the national curry category ✌. Cheese Gurucha is a great dish with a good amount of saltiness and cheeses melting on the chewy naan. Butter Chicken Curry and South Indian Shrimp Curry 🍛. Butter Chicken Curry is sweet and rich with a thick and creamy roux that is irresistible‼︎‼︎‼︎ Prawn Curry is spicy🦐 with four prawns ♡ Both curries are incomparable to any curry I have ever had 😨💕. The lamb sheek kabab and tandoori chicken were both full of spices, the chicken was tender and no complaints about the seasoning 🤤❤️ I'm desperate to take pictures and video for now. Now I want to try a different curry😻💋🍛.

One of the best Indian curry restaurants in Tokyo. The curry is authentic, but the flavor is concentrated in a surprisingly non-spicy way. Although it is not an authentic Indian curry, but an original Indian curry with a Japanese flavor, the taste is first class. Reservations are required, but it is a must-visit restaurant.
