The aroma of spices wafts through the air, and my heart races with anticipation even before I take my seat. This time, I ordered a combination of two types of three-spice dishes, totaling three hundred grams, choosing seafood coconut tomato and brown rice vinegar pork. The umami of the shellfish and the gentle sweetness of the coconut complement the moderate acidity of the tomato, leaving a pleasant, mellow aftertaste. On the other hand, the pork combines the refreshing taste of brown rice vinegar with the texture of thinly sliced pork and bamboo shoots, resulting in a dish that is light yet rich in flavor. Alternating between the two dishes or mixing them changes the flavor profile, and with each spoonful, there was a new discovery. By the time I finished eating, I was gently sweating, and the lingering spices left my body and mood feeling light.
