This is a standing bar with only a counter, but it has a spacious area where you can feel relaxed even if it's your first time. Both the owner and the customers are friendly, and it's nice that they remember your face and greet you. The snacks range from fried foods and grilled items to small dishes from Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines, making it exciting to choose each time. My favorites are the thick grilled salmon and the gently flavored oden. The sashimi is beautifully presented like in a high-end restaurant, and it pairs perfectly with beer and sweet potato shochu. It's the best place where you can enjoy the casualness of standing drinking along with a homely warmth.
