This was my first time to have Sanuki udon in the local area. My first choice was "Udonbou," a long-established restaurant in Kawaramachi, where beginners can order normally. The restaurant's elegant appearance, with the udon noodle making area visible from the outside, heightened my expectations. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were surprised to see oden. I was surprised to see that the oden is self-serve. The udon noodles are thin and chewy. The aroma of the dashi broth filled my nostrils, and I was filled with the joy of being in Udon prefecture. And when I paid the bill, the surprisingly low price made me happy to be in Kagawa again. We enjoyed our meal. )
