The moment the automatic door opens with a loud sound, I am enveloped in a Showa retro atmosphere and feel excited. Inside the restaurant, the tables are comfortably arranged, and the space is large enough to relax. The set I ordered for lunch, which includes a hamburger and fried salmon, is beautifully presented with chopped cabbage and roast ham. The hamburger, simmered to perfection, has a nostalgic richness that reminds me of rooftop restaurants in department stores. The crispy fried salmon is easy to eat as it has no bones, and it pairs well with the demi-glace style sauce. Even the miso soup and small side dishes are carefully prepared, bringing a warmth unique to a local Western-style restaurant.
