At a shop near the sea, the fragrant smell of charcoal wafts from the entrance, creating excitement. Once seated, thickly sliced grilled zucchini is served as an appetizer, and its creamy texture is irresistible. The salad topped with plenty of shirasu (whitebait) is light and pairs well with the crunchy vegetables. The limited skewers of chicken neck and thigh are juicy, with the aroma of charcoal and salt being exquisite. The large serving of fatty tuna (chutoro) and collar is easy to flake apart, adding to the fun of serving it yourself. Finally, when I dig into a bowl topped with various parts of the fatty tuna, the flavors of the sea spread throughout, bringing a feeling of happiness.
