Hi there! This is Hanagasa. Menso~re~! Hanagasa-san, located at the end of Shon-Xyocho Alley! It's a pretty fancy and big store in this neighborhood, so you can easily find it! The first floor is a standing bar, and the second floor has tables and counter seats. If you want to sit and enjoy, go to the second floor. I was allowed to use the second floor this time! Hanagasa is an Okinawan izakaya and very popular in Juso! It was early in the day, so it was quiet, but as time went by, the place was packed! Let's order various Okinawan dishes! For drinks, we didn't venture into Goya Chuhai or Sanpicha! Appetizers Dressed greens and island tofu 150 yen Pork and egg 350 yen Bitter melon stir-fry 250 yen Deep-fried Tebichi 680 yen Curly Potato 350 yen Artha soup ¥400 And here is what I ordered! Nigana is an Okinawan food, and as the name suggests, it is bitter! It's like tofu paste, so it's good! Pork and egg is more like salty Spam! Bitter melon stir-fry, this is a classic of all classics! I think it tastes better with pork belly than with Spam! Fried tebichi, fried pig's feet Crispy on the outside, slippery on the inside... I think I could eat it relatively well even though I ate it for the first time! Next, will you try pig's feet? Then, we finished with curly fries and artha soup! The portions are a good size and the price is reasonable! If you go with about 4 people, you can eat various kinds of food and it will be better. The waitresses are very friendly and their Okinawan way of speaking will make you feel at home! I will definitely revisit this restaurant! Next time, let's try the bitter melon chu-hi (lol)!
