A famous restaurant in an alley ● Assorted skewers (7 pieces, 1500 yen) On this day, there were gizzards, thigh meat, sukimi (meat around the neck), chicken wings, heart, lotus root tsukune, and chicken breast. The constant effort of the craftsman who never rests his hands moving the skewers is evident; the grilling is simply superb. All the meats are evenly tender and very juicy. I was particularly surprised by the texture when I ate the heart. With about two drinks, the total bill was around 3000 yen, and I also recommend the finishing rice porridge (no image)!

The restaurant moved diagonally to the front in September of this year. The former interior had a white wooden counter, but this time it has a burgundy counter with a calm atmosphere and seats about 10 people. There are also some tables in the back. Omakase course (7 skewers, 2,800 yen) I posted about this restaurant before it moved to a new location, but when I look back at the contents of that post (from 2015), I see that the same course was priced at 1,500 yen. When I visited last year, it was 1800 yen. It used to be a place where you could enjoy the most delicious yakitori for a reasonable price, which is unthinkable in the center of Tokyo, but it seems to have become more like a regular famous restaurant in terms of cost performance. The course of the day consisted of seven kinds of yakitori: sabi-yaki, sukimi, hatsu, thigh, liver (forgot to take a picture), tsukune, and tebasaki (chicken wings). The chicken at this restaurant is delicious, but the owner's exquisite cooking skill is just wonderful. The sabi-yaki (breast meat) and liver are lightly seared on the surface for an exquisite rarefied taste, and you can enjoy the rarefied, not raw, cooked taste. The crispy skin of the thigh meat and the tsukune, which is grilled well on the surface but juicy inside. The sukimiyaki and hatsu (heart) leave a unique texture while the delicious flavor spreads in your mouth. For drinks, we drank a lemon sour, shared a bottle of beer (Akahoshi), and finished with a ginger ale, and the bill was just under 4,000 yen. I said "nandaka nandaka," but it is still very reasonable. The restaurant is usually full except for late hours on weekdays, so it is better to make a reservation or call before visiting.

I wanted to eat yakitori with a good sauce, so I invited a friend to dinner. We had yakitori and other dishes and beer. The liver was thickly sliced and very hearty. The sauce, which is a secret recipe of the restaurant, was a perfect match with the rich and sticky flavor of the liver. It was a perfect match not only with beer but also with sake.

A delicious yakitori restaurant in Yokohama! They serve the fresh white meat so fresh that you can even go for sashimi, almost in a rare state. And the skewers are so delicious that you can eat as many as you want, as the juices are overflowing. LOL! To top it off, they serve chicken porridge at ......! Delicious! I am satisfied!
