Located near Naha City Hall, Tsukasaya is a unique spot that serves fresh sashimi during the day as a seafood shop and transforms into an izakaya at night. Inside the restaurant, you can choose your favorite fish from the showcase and order a variety of dishes such as sashimi and tempura. A unique feature is the freedom to bring your own alcohol, allowing you to enjoy the flavors of Okinawa with a creative twist.

The fish is fresh, and you can feel that every dish is carefully prepared. It's interesting that during the day they sell sashimi, and at night it becomes a casual eat-in. It's fun to have the fish you choose from the showcase prepared as sashimi, tempura, simmered dishes, or grilled with butter. The sashimi platter we ordered first was very good, and the grilled and fried dishes, as well as the clams, were delicious. The squid ink noodles are a must-try, with a strong aroma and richness. You can bring your own alcohol, and the style of preparing and cleaning your own plates is relaxed and comfortable.

The interior is spacious and clean, making it a pleasant place to spend time. It's interesting that during the day it operates as a fish market, and at night it becomes a restaurant where you can eat on-site. When you choose fish from the showcase, they will prepare it for you in your preferred style, such as sashimi, tempura, or simmered dishes. We first ordered a sashimi platter and then added grilled and fried items to enjoy. The squid ink noodles were a memorable dish, rich in flavor and very delicious. You can bring your own drinks, and canned beer is available for purchase inside, making it easy to enjoy.
