Gurasu is another name for Laliguras (Rhododendron). The smaller ones are about waist height, while the larger ones can grow into towering trees. There are several colors, but among them, the 'bright red Laliguras' is the national flower of Nepal. It starts to bloom around mid-February and can be enjoyed until mid-April. I grew up seeing the blooming bright red Gurasu since I was a child. Now living far away from my hometown in Japan, I named the store so that I can always remember my hometown.
