What is it? This texture!　@Gion | Delicious food and happiness! I came to Kyoto! But I'm going back home without eating dinner... I'm so frustrated! But I'm not a quitter, I want to eat something in Kyoto at any cost! As I was walking toward the station, I thought to myself, "What's that? Gion Tokuya is not lined up! I passed by the store several times and saw a line of people standing in line, and I glanced at it sideways! We don't have much time, let's go in! Let's go in! Gion Tokuya Located about a 5-minute walk southeast from Keihan Gion Shijo Station. The store is located on Hanamikoji Street. Inside the restaurant, there are only tables. 4 tables for 2 persons and 2 tables for 4 persons Miraculously, one table was available! It was late in the evening, and some items were out of stock, but it seemed that the signature items were available! Tokuya's strawbutter mochi (1,200 yen) You can already feel the fluffy texture from its appearance! Easy to take one by one with chopsticks! First, just take a bite! The strawbimochi, carefully kneaded with domestic bracken flour and wasanbon (a type of rice flour), is shaking in your mouth and melts away after a while. What is this gentle sweetness? Plenty of soybean flour in the shape of a flower! Adding a savory flavor! The molasses is silky and not very well mixed, but this molasses also has a very elegant sweetness. Delicious on its own! You can lick it up all the time! The warabi mochi is served on a bed of ice. It was shaved after the order was placed, and I saw other customers eating it, so it looks like you can eat it! Dip it in kinako (soybean flour) and kuromitsu (molasses), and you have shaved ice! You can eat shaved ice as well as warabi mochi, killing two birds with one stone, don't you think? I definitely want to eat this on a hot day! Zenzai is also popular in winter. I'm so glad to hear that! I was able to enjoy a popular cafe in Kyoto. Kyoto Gion Tokuya Food log 3.74 If you are looking for sweets in Kyoto, this is definitely the place to go! I love their strawbimochi so much 💕. Depending on the day of the week, there may be a line. It's really delicious 🤤. The picture is of Kuzumochi and Strawbimochi with aiimori🌿!

Finally, I was able to taste the strawbaked rice cake that I had prayed for ♡. The taste is so delicious that it overturned my previous concept of warabimochi. It was too half of a handsome I'm glad you had a happy time ♡♡♡

I came to Gion Tokuya, famous for its "Honwarabimochi" (straw dough cake)! On weekends, there is a huge line, but today it was empty! Thanks to the typhoon, the warabimochi is so delicious!
