The moment I opened the door, a retro and comforting atmosphere flowed in, and I was able to relax immediately. The food is served in a style where there is no menu, and the owner brings out whatever can be made at that time. The tebichi (pork trotters) on this day was so flavorful that I couldn't help but bite into the bones in silence; it was exquisite. At the counter, conversations naturally flowed with the local customers, and even as a first-time visitor, I quickly became friends with them. Occasionally, customers pour their own drinks, and that relaxed vibe is another enjoyable point. I think it's a wonderful place where you can enjoy the home-cooked flavors unique to the island while savoring the laid-back island time.
