Sitting at the counter, the pleasant sound of frying in front of me fills me with excitement even before it begins. The light and crispy tempura, made with local ingredients unique to the island, offered new discoveries with every bite. There were several types of salt available, allowing me to enjoy different flavors with each ingredient, which was a delightful feature. The dishes and glasses were beautiful, making the entire table feel vibrant, not just the food. I could choose between rice dishes or soba for the finale, allowing me to savor everything at my own pace until the end. With the spacious seating and the owner's light-hearted conversation, I was able to spend a peaceful time that will remain a cherished memory of my trip.
