Close to the station, as I passed through the entrance on the second floor, a calm counter spread out before me. I was happy that there was no appetizer charge or seating fee. The dashimaki tamago (Japanese rolled omelette) was subtly sweet with a strong dashi flavor, and it was even more delicious when paired with grated daikon. The simmered beef tendon was infused with the flavors of root vegetables and had a refined soy sauce taste that was comforting. The chicken skin with ponzu sauce was carefully prepared and paired well with aromatic vegetables, making it refreshing to enjoy. There was also a selection of shochu, and I was able to slowly savor it along with dishes like horse sashimi and macaroni salad.
