The Japanese restaurant in the garden has a calm atmosphere that is pleasant. Surrounded by a traditional farmhouse-style building with an irori (a sunken hearth), it evokes a sense of warmth from Japanese culture. There are many seats, and I appreciate being able to sit quietly and leisurely. I can enjoy local flavors made with fresh vegetables, and the mixed rice is fluffy and gently prepared. The small udon noodles with a rich dashi broth and the juicy fried chicken are also delicious, providing a sense of satisfaction. The soft serve ice cream after the meal is finely textured and not too sweet, making for a pleasant finish.
