Since it was the Obon holiday, I made a reservation in advance along with my stay. For the meal, I had the sashimi set and thoroughly enjoyed the day's recommendation of fried horse mackerel and sea pineapple! There was also a reserved bottle, so I wondered if there were many locals and regulars. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant with a reservation. I was taken to the second floor, which has a very nice view of the ocean. It is a very beautiful, cozy little place where you can relax quietly, and the music is soft, creating a really pleasant atmosphere that was comfortable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and immediately noticed us, making it easy to order and wait comfortably. I truly felt that dining is all about comfort and a good feeling. We started with a sashimi platter, then ordered fried dishes, pickles, grilled items, and drank a lot. It was really great. If it were nearby, I would go every time, but since there isn't one in my hometown in Tokyo, I regret that. The price was reasonable for all the food and drinks we had. Thank you very much. If I ever come back to Matsushima, I will definitely visit again. Thank you.

I made a reservation at this restaurant because I wanted to enjoy oysters in various ways. As expected, there were many options on the menu, and it seemed good for both people like us who want to enjoy different kinds of oysters and those who want to have a full meal. The oysters were really delicious, and I was very satisfied. If I had to say something, it was that the view along the coast was nice, but the roofs of the buildings in between were a bit disappointing. It might have been because it was a bad weather day. I will visit again when I come to Matsushima.

I visited in the evening. Since it was still early, I was able to sit down comfortably. The menu is rich with a variety of seafood, including classic set meals and individual dishes, and there are also local sake and craft beers, making it hard to decide what to choose. I had the anago don (conger eel rice bowl) along with steamed oysters and raw oysters. The anago was fluffy, and between the rice and the eel, the shredded egg and cucumber soaked up the sweet sauce and the rich flavor of the eel, making it impossible to stop eating. The oysters were both full of flavor, and I enjoyed them simply with salt, without any additional condiments. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again if I have the chance.

The atmosphere, the staff's response, the taste of the food, the presentation, the dishes, everything was perfect. The various drinks were also delicious. If it were in my hometown in Tokyo, I would visit every week... I truly feel grateful to have encountered this place, and I'm glad I came to Matsushima! Overall, it was a wonderful night.

The atmosphere was homey with a friendly owner and a kind hostess. The food was enjoyable, including fried Mejikari and anago from Matsushima, as well as beef tongue. There were various local sake options, and coincidentally, other customers were all drinking the same warm sake, which naturally sparked conversations. A young American couple next to us didn't have cash, and the staff kindly offered to drive them to a convenience store, showing their wonderful hospitality.
