Maestro in Kyoto was originally a flower shop, half of which is now cafe style. I ordered the light green orchid soft serve ice cream and coffee. The soft-serve ice cream was a great looking ice cream, of course, but the neroli aroma spread on the palate and the flavor was mild, an idea that only a flower store could come up with. The staff was courteous and pleasant. The soft serve ice cream and coffee in a stylish space with the aroma of flowers was fantastic.
