SEA BiRDS CAFE

At Sea Bar's Cafe, you can enjoy a variety of menu items that make use of ingredients produced in Ibaraki Prefecture. Particularly popular is the "Ibaraki Gapao," a dish that uses the prefecture's own bricks of kelp and Koshihikari rice, and is an adaptation of Thailand's national dish. In addition, the restaurant offers limited-time-only menus such as "KAMINE ZOO Original Pancakes" and "Planet Ocean" in collaboration with local establishments, offering new tastes every time you visit.

The interior of the restaurant has a simple and sophisticated design with white as its base color, and is furnished with counter seats and tables. The entire interior is made of glass, creating an extraordinary space with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean from every seat. In addition, all seats in the restaurant are non-smoking, and it is designed with consideration for customers with children.

Sea Bars Cafe opened on December 10, 2011 and is located inside Hitachi Station. Inheriting the philosophy of Kazuyo Sejima, who supervised the design of the station building, the concept is "a restaurant where you can dine in an extraordinary space, like a resort. The menu actively incorporates local Ibaraki ingredients and emphasizes the restaurant's connection with the local community.
