A yakiniku restaurant that is highly praised by the meat friends and gourmet Instagrammers around you. As a citizen of Yokohama, I was mistaken in thinking that Higashiyamato City sounded familiar to me, and it was about a 40-minute ride on the Seibu Shinjuku Line from Shinjuku Station. This is the first time I have been further than Tanashi Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line! (Don't get me started on the fact that Yokohama City is to the east of Yamato City.) White senmai (580 yen) This is a menu item that the regular who introduced me to this restaurant insists on. The regular who introduced me to this restaurant is a big fan of this dish. I thought it would be good, but it was so tasty and had no smell at all. I think the texture is softer than other senmai I have eaten. It goes well with the special vinegared miso paste. Roast beef yukaye style (780 yen) Wow, my beer was empty at this point. Even my companion, who is not a big fan of raw meat, was so satisfied with this dish that he considered having another one. Jai An's extra-thick tongue (980 yen) This is also a signature dish. The surface of the tongue has been sliced to make it easier to eat, but I think I could have eaten it without it. We first grilled it thoroughly over high heat and then let it rest on the edge of the shichirin. Lemon juice was recommended, but it is delicious enough as it is because of the salt. Three kinds of red meat (880 yen) The lineup for the day consisted of jiaan kalbi, harami, and seared loin. You don't often see kalbi and harami on a red meat platter, do you? The three are completely different parts of the meat, so you can taste the difference in flavor. Tomosankaku (1,280 yen) One of the regulars had contacted the owner and came to our table to greet us. When I asked for his recommendation, he said that tomosankaku was his favorite although it was not on the menu, so I ordered it without hesitation. It looks a bit tough, but when eaten with an egg yolk, it is very mild. I could eat a whole bowl of rice with just one piece. A little different roast beef for adults (780 yen) I ended up having more roast beef, but I didn't want to eat the same thing again. This one is served with miso paste and green onions, so it looks like nameko mushrooms. In short, this is a drinker's killer, so I think it would be hard without a drink. Jian An Kalbi (1,280 yen) This is the royal menu of yakiniku with tare sauce. The cut is thick, so the first piece was cooked rare and the second medium. The bill was reasonable and my companion was very satisfied. We left the restaurant vowing to return within the year. While writing the review, I realized I had not taken a picture of the menu. It is intensely far from my place of work and home, but I have revisited it. This time, I ordered from the menu that I particularly enjoyed the last time I ate there, but also mixed in some menu items that I had not yet eaten. White pickled bamboo shoots Cold tofu Boiled tofu Roast beef style yukke Thick sliced tongue 4 kinds of ribs Sagari Liver Shirokoro Both myself and my companion drank two drinks each, and the bill was about 5,000 yen/person, I think. The owner is very particular about purchasing only the best meat and hormones! And the price is unbelievably low for the meat and hormone that he is so particular about! And even though he was busy, I was impressed by the way he came to our table to greet us and see us off until we were out of sight.

Visit to this favorite once every four years on Meat Day. The quality of the meat and hormones is excellent and reasonably priced, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I think it's only a matter of time before they are named one of the 100 best restaurants on the food log. I visited with six of my fellow gourmets. Roast beef style yukke White pickled bamboo shoots Boiled tongue Shin Shin Steak Thick-sliced Wagyu Beef Halami Thick cut Wagyu liver Liver Harami Sueji Wagyu beef hormone Wagyu Beef Hormone Shirokoro Shirokoro Mino (mino) We were surprised that the bill was 5,500 yen per person after ordering a bottle of makgeolli (black and white) and a bottle of makgeolli. The bill was surprisingly 5,500 yen per person, which is probably almost double the price in the city center. The recommended dish of the day is often uploaded on the Instagram story, so be sure to check it out! The day we went, Shin Shin Steak and thick-cut Wagyu Beef Halami were featured on the story, so we ordered them and they were so delicious! I think the trick is to eat at a good tempo because the serving time is fast after ordering. It is far from my home and place of work, but I would like to visit this restaurant again.

I visited this restaurant for dinner with friends. We had meat and beer, including an extra-large lean steak, which was an inner thigh, lean but with just the right amount of sting. It was cut thick but tender. When I chewed it, the umami of the meat overflowed in my mouth and was very delicious. It was best eaten simply with salt.
