I made a reservation for 2:30 PM. There were no customers at all, and I was a bit surprised because it is usually fully booked. However, it was nice to have a seat that felt private. The taste was also excellent. It was very cold, so I couldn't stay long, which was a bit disappointing.

I ate gamjatang and jeon. Both were delicious. The potatoes were soft and well infused with flavor, and the meat from the bones was also tender. The broth was thick and red, but it was flavorful and not spicy, making it easy to eat. The meat attached to the bones was a bit difficult to eat, but it was worth it. I thought I would like to eat it again. The fresh makgeolli was refreshing and delicious!

Matsuya, Higashi-Shinjuku 🇰🇷 The second country of the international cooking party was Korea! I've been to Korea once before, but this time I had octopus hot pot 🐙! The octopus was soft and tasty, and it was great to eat it while huffing and puffing😍The pickled kimchi was delicious, and the sweetness of the Chinese cabbage was outstanding! I will definitely come back!
