I entered a lively street in Kawabata, drawn in by the music flowing from outside. The interior has a neat atmosphere that is calming, with both counter and table seating, making it comfortable even for solo diners. I chose a combination platter where I could mix two of my favorite curries, selecting keema and a tangy pork curry. The keema has a strong aroma and umami, while the pork has a pleasant balance of spiciness and tanginess, highlighting the strengths of each. Sri Lankan curry is also available, served with fragrant long-grain rice in the center, creating a very beautiful presentation. The spices have a refreshing sharpness, and the more I ate, the more I felt a pleasant warmth from the spiciness.

Located in a corner of Kawabata, the sign for 'Spice Curry' stands out in the daytime tranquility. Upon opening the door, you can relax in a calm space that feels like a café but has a bar-like atmosphere. The lively music playing from the speakers at the entrance fills you with excitement as you enter. I chose a combination of two types: keema and pork vindaloo, and the harmony of aroma and acidity was very good. I also got to taste the dashi pork and hot ginger chicken, with the umami of the dashi and the gentle spiciness of the ginger being quite pleasant. I enjoyed a generous serving of rice, and in the latter half, mixing various elements brought together a complexity that created a new deliciousness.
