Sawaya's Pirozhki
In the 1950s, when Sawaya was founded, a Russian living in Karuizawa ran a Russian restaurant where the local dish 'Pirozhki' was popular. At Sawaya, we have recreated that nostalgic taste based on memories from that time. It is a hearty pirozhki filled with coarsely ground mixed meat and boiled eggs.
