This is a takeout eel restaurant located in a corner of a shopping street, featuring a simple and traditional appearance. It follows the Kansai style of grilling without steaming, resulting in a fragrant skin and a perfectly firm flesh that I prefer. The flavorful sauce is mildly sweet, and when paired with rice, it becomes irresistible. Grilled eel is also a staple here, and when lightly seared, it releases a delightful aroma that pairs well with alcohol. There are also items like eels shipped directly from Lake Hamana and bone crackers, making for enjoyable snacks. The shop is small, centered around a display case, but I found it convenient that they also have an online store.
