For customers who want to enjoy authentic, authentic fugu cuisine... Kappo Ryokan Jubilee has been serving fugu (blowfish) for more than 80 years. We offer a fugu course that can be enjoyed by both the eyes and the palate with our reliable techniques.
Fugu cuisine at a reasonable price in the home of fugu... Some customers say that our full course is very satisfying. We have prepared a lighter course than the full course, while maintaining the basics (fugu sashimi, fugu kara, fugu chirinabe, and zosui (rice porridge) as a finisher). I want to try the fugu course! A full course is too much.... We recommend this course for those who want to try a fugu course, but the full course is too much. Full course: about 50 pieces (fugu sashimi) per person Easy course: about 25 fugu sashimi per person

★ Sumirei's recommendation ★ ......━━━━━━☆ ......━━━━━━☆ .... 1) [Manzeki-zen-seki] is a kaiseki that emphasizes quality over quantity, allowing you to eat up all of Shimonoseki's premium ingredients. (2) "Undan": Kitaura Undan from Kitaura, Yamaguchi Prefecture, which is said to be one of the top five in Japan, is used. Whale: Shimonoseki is the site of research whaling and has a deep historical connection with this food. Fugu (blowfish): Fresh blowfish gathers at the Minamikazumari Fishing Port, a market specializing in blowfish.
[Private Room Guaranteed] Enjoy three of our most famous specialties all at once: piping-hot “Kawara Soba,” exquisite “Fugu Sushi,” and melt-in-your-mouth “Yamaguchi Wagyu Steak.” This heartwarming, locally sourced course showcases the very best of Shimonoseki and Yamaguchi. Please savor the vibrant flavors of our region to your heart’s content.

You can choose between fillet or sirloin. This beef is a crossbreed of Mijima beef, which is Japan's oldest breed and designated as a natural monument, and Dutch Holstein. It inherits the rich flavor, depth, and aroma unique to the original Japanese wagyu from Mijima beef, along with a robust taste of deep red meat. The more you chew, the more you can enjoy the natural flavor of the meat. Recommended for health-conscious individuals.
