Now that it's on TV, it's going to be very popular! Every Wednesday, I watch Imachan's show "Actually..." almost every week. This week, on September 3, the program "[Imada Shiranai Osaka] Takatsuki's bathhouse-centered nightlife is actually..." introduced this place! It's nice to see a place you've been to featured in the show, isn't it? I had dinner with a very nice person that day! The restaurant is located in a residential area within a 10-minute walk from Hankyu Takatsuki Station. Surprisingly, the restaurant is small with only 4 seats at the counter and 3 tables. The menu is as follows 4,000 yen course: Appetizer, sashimi, hot pot, simmered dish, appetizer, meal, and dessert Available only from Monday through Thursday for up to 4 persons. Not available on Fridays, Saturdays and the day before national holidays. 5,000 yen course: Appetizer, small appetizer, zori, cooked dish, simmered dish, appetizer, main dish, meal, dessert, sweets, and thin tea 7,500 yen course: Appetizer, small appetizer, hot dish, small pot, fish dish, appetizer, main dish, meal, dessert, sweets, and thin tea Tax is not included. We made a reservation for the 5,000 yen course. We had a bottle of champagne for drinks! Raw oysters Oysters were served with a side dish of rock oysters! Squeeze a little lemon on it and enjoy! I ate the big oyster with my mouth full (lol). There was no smell at all and it was very creamy! You can expect this from the very beginning! Hamo no tako no jelli-yose (hamo no taro in jelly)! The appetizer was a cool dish perfect for this hot day! The texture of the hamo is very pleasant, and when eaten with salmon roe, the texture is even more pleasant! The soup stock is very effective and very tasty! Assorted Sashimi The sashimi is served in a bowl of fan. Sashimi such as sea bream, rockfish, octopus, etc. are on the plate! Tatako (octopus) with plum sauce on TV! The octopus is very springy and the plum sauce is refreshing! Savannah Takahashi's comparison of octopus looked delicious! I wish I could have tried it! Hamo (Japanese conger eel) and Awaji onions in a hot pot! After the cold food, here's a small pot! A pot filled with hamo (Japanese conger eel) and Awaji onions! As expected...Awaji onions! Awaji onions! They have a nice sweetness♪ It was simple and relaxing! Cooked in a bowl In a cute bowl were three kinds of simmered dishes! The gentle soup stock spreads in your mouth with the vegetables! You will be so happy! Hachisun I was surprised to see the appetizers in this order! The vegetables are all grown in Takatsuki! The owner of this restaurant grows his own vegetables on his own farm! I think it's wonderful that he cooks and serves vegetables he grows himself! Beef fillet steak with red wine sauce! Finally! Finally, the main course! It's beef fillet steak with red wine sauce! Underneath is sautéed zebra eggplant! Of course, the filet is tender and the red wine sauce is rather refreshing! The eggplant underneath was juicy and so delicious! Wakame Porridge The last dish was a refreshing wakame porridge! I was already full, but I just had a bowl of rice porridge! It was like everything was swept away cleanly. It was a healing porridge that enveloped me with tenderness. Purple potato brûlée, watermelon, pomelo cake They serve sweets as well! The brûlée was nettlesome and the top was crispy! The pomelo cake is refreshing! Thin tea with plum blossoms We are served with thin green tea and noshi-ume (Japanese apricots) prepared by the owner, who has studied flower arrangement and tea ceremony. When I was a child, I didn't like this noshi-ume plum. But as an adult, I find it refreshing and delicious! Ahhh, I must have grown up! The thin tea was also very delicious! For 5,000 yen, it's a very reasonable price, don't you think? I think this is a very enjoyable course! The amount of food is also very generous, so 4,000 yen might be a good price! From 9:00 p.m., a la carte service is available, so it might be good for the second course! Oh no, I'm full! Chest full! We had so much fun that we were surprised when we looked at the clock at 23:30! I found a nice restaurant in Takatsuki! They have been getting a lot of inquiries right after it was shown on TV!
