Fisherman's Meal
A fisherman's meal passed down by the sea men who fish in the Izu Peninsula. Fresh fish directly shipped from the Izu Peninsula through a unique distribution method, prepared as a rice dish taught by the fishermen.
Izu Ito's Fisherman's Direct Recipe Uzuwameshi
The fish uzuwa (Skipjack Tuna) caught by the men of the sea is a fish where freshness is key. The reason uzuwa is always fresh and delicious is due to the fisherman's dedicated spirit. First, enjoy it raw with rice, and then you can pour broth over it while eating.
