A variety of seasonal vegetables and fruits are lined up, and just looking at them is exciting. The local vegetables are all fresh, and I am amazed by the volume of the napa cabbage and daikon radish. The Fuji, Aorin, and Shinano Sweet apples have a wonderful aroma and a pleasant texture. The golden peach cider I found in the store has just the right amount of carbonation, and the peach flavor spreads gently. I can enjoy freshly made soba right there, and the freshly baked rice flour bread also has a lovely aroma. There are also tofu, konjac dumplings, pickles, and steamed buns available, making it hard to resist picking them up.
