This is a pleasant soba restaurant that you can casually stop by in the mountains surrounded by nature. The homemade soba has a good bite and its aroma spreads gently. The mild dipping sauce clings just right, making you want to drink up the broth. The burdock tempura has a light texture right after frying, and when it absorbs the dipping sauce, its flavor increases even more. From small plates to bowls, the pottery of Oita's Usuki is lined up, and just enjoying the harmony between the dishes and the tableware is delightful. Surrounded by the sound of the flowing river and the cool mountain air, I was able to spend a relaxing time.
