Located on the second floor of a building facing the approach to the shrine, this book café features books related to Ise and the shrine, with some available to read at your seat. It operates on a pre-payment system, allowing you to sit wherever you like, and water is self-service. A glass case displays sandwiches and sweets, and baked goods can also be enjoyed in the café. The baked cheesecake has a rare texture, with a crispy tart base and fruit jam providing a nice accent. Various local flavors come together here, and you can relax while listening to jazz piano music. There are also plates with soup and sandwiches, as well as pumpkin pudding, all of which are satisfying.
