Sitting at the counter is enjoyable as they prepare the ingredients right in front of you according to your preferences. The tempura of wild vegetables, sashimi of local fish, and yakitori are all meticulously made, with the crispy tempura being particularly impressive. The bamboo shoot soup and grilled rice balls also have a wonderful aroma and a simple taste that is comforting. The hand-made soba and tempura of sea eel have a great texture and a rich umami flavor. The staff are friendly and willing to help with recommendations for local sake, allowing you to fully enjoy the flavors of the region. There is also a tatami room where you can relax, and the lively atmosphere at the counter makes it a place where you want to linger.
