Founded in 1971 in Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture. Utilizing Edo-mae sushi techniques, the restaurant insists on using fresh seafood from the local Shonai beach. The founder trained as a sushi chef in Tokyo before returning to his hometown to open this restaurant based on the concept of "fusion of Edo-mae sushi and local fish. Over the years, this popular restaurant has continued to be loved by locals and tourists alike.
