Yasukiyo is a small restaurant with only counter seating, located just a short walk from JR Tamatsukuri Station, run solely by the owner. The interior offers a comfortable sense of distance, allowing guests to enjoy exquisite dishes centered around fugu, such as fugu milt and sashimi. In a lively atmosphere, the wagyu sukiyaki and sake are also exceptional. Each visit brings new discoveries, making it a place you’ll want to return to.

I visited the restaurant for a drink alone because I had been curious about it since it was featured on a TV program. It was a nice and cozy restaurant with only counter seats. I ordered several dishes from the menu recommended by the owner, and all of them were delicious. Among them, the assorted kushikatsu (skewers) were very tasty, with extra-thick prawns and thick scallops deep-fried in a thin and flaky batter.
