We went to this restaurant on a weekend in Kyoto, Japan, which is highly rated by word of mouth. The exterior is unassuming, but the ambiance inside the restaurant is beyond anything I could have imagined. The owner man alone handcrafts the food. The appetizers were innovative and beautifully prepared and went perfectly with the ambiance. I was disappointed that the pork was a little tough, but overall it was a wonderful restaurant. A perfect place to enjoy a quiet weekend.
