Near Shuzenji Onsen, I was able to casually enjoy dishes made with river fish. The burger with amago (a type of trout) cutlet was perfectly fried, allowing the delicious flavor of the fish to shine through. The grilled fish was cooked just right, tender, with a subtle aroma, offering a different texture compared to sweetfish. The wasabi set meal had a variety of side dishes, and it was enjoyable to mix fresh wasabi with rice, while the mist-like soy sauce was very easy to use. The amago miso soup had a rich dashi flavor, and the combination with daikon was delicious. The interior is small with tables close together, but it is popular, so it's reassuring to reserve a seat in advance.
