This is a shop where you can experience authentic Uji tea in a calm atmosphere. The staff kindly teaches you how to brew the tea, so even beginners can confidently give it a try. The first brew, made with lower water temperature, has a rich umami flavor, and the depth reminiscent of kombu dashi spreads out, leaving a strong impression. The process of how the aroma and astringency change with each brew is fascinating, and you can't help but savor it slowly. Finally, when you eat the tea leaves with ponzu, a flavor reminiscent of rapeseed blossoms emerges, allowing you to encounter a new deliciousness. This experiential café is highly recommended not only for tea lovers but also for those who want to understand the depth of beverages.
