A restaurant to enjoy a variety of exquisite chanko nabe

Chanko Wakabayama offers a rich selection of chanko nabe, allowing you to discover new delicious flavors with each visit. The salty and miso-based broths enhance the taste of the ingredients, and the salt soup, in particular, offers an exquisite flavor that is difficult to replicate at home. In the calm atmosphere of the restaurant, you can also enjoy side dishes like house-made sashimi and fried chicken, with new menu items to savor each time you visit.

The chanko nabe, fried oysters, sashimi, and tsukune were all very delicious. The interior had many sumo posters and panels, making it a must-see for fans. It was my first time dining there, but the food was served quickly, and the service was very kind. I would like to go again.

The food is very good. The quantity of chanko is large! We were two women and one man, and we wanted to enjoy more than just chanko, so we ordered chanko for two. We were happy to see that we could order less than the amount for the number of people in our party! However, it was a little difficult to enter the restroom because it was unisex and there was a men's toilet in front of it and a toilet seat on the door at the back. I am sorry about that...

When I took a cab there on the day of the visit, I saw a sign in the store that said the restaurant was closed due to a corona infection. I was very disappointed because all three of us were looking forward to the restaurant. I would like to know why they did not know our phone number, which was given accurately when we made the reservation. Next time, we will have no choice but to call directly to make a reservation.
