Coffee shop in the middle of a long-established shop @ Umeda | Happy to eat good food! I woke up early in the morning and went to buy something today! I woke up early to get in line at the Hankyu Umeda flagship store before it opened! I came to Umeda without any food and I was so hungry... We're going to stand in line now! I have to have something in my stomach, right? I went to New yc! Right after you get off the long escalator from the 3rd floor of the Hankyu train! It's right next to McDonald's and I've been going there since I was a kid, but it was founded in 1950! It's amazing that they have been in business for over 69 years! They open early in the morning at 5:30 a.m., so they must be used by all kinds of people! There are two types of morning breakfast, toast and the daily special, each for 500 yen! Unfortunately, the daily special was sold out, so I had the toast morning. ◾︎ Toast Morning Jam 500 yen I could choose between butter and jam, so I chose jam for some reason. Jam on top of crispy toast! I haven't had this kind of toast for a long time, but it was nostalgic! Salad and boiled egg, nothing special... Bread, salad, boiled egg, and a drink for one coin is OK! The inside of the restaurant has a retro atmosphere Nowadays, places with low tables and chairs in this kind of austere space are becoming rare. The older age range here is also more relaxed than in more fashionable cafes, isn't it? The fact that it is a rare place where you can smoke may be one of the reasons why people come here. At least in the mornings and during lunch, I wish they would make it non-smoking... Thank you very much for your hospitality!
