I entered a traditional Western-style café located in the shopping street of a housing complex. Upon entering, I was greeted by a Showa retro atmosphere, and the spacious seating allowed for a comfortable experience. The menu, which covered the entire wall, was diverse, featuring everything from hamburgers and omelets to soba noodles, and just looking at it was exciting. This time, I ordered the croquette curry, which was served generously on a large plate, and I was surprised by the amount of pickled shallots and fukujinzuke. The mild spiciness of the curry and the crispy croquettes paired perfectly, and I was able to enjoy it without getting bored until the end. While sipping coffee after the meal and gazing at the retro interior, I felt that this place is loved by the local regulars.
