Upon arriving at the quiet building deep in the forest, the scent of wood and natural light warmly welcome you. The interior is newly built with wood, and the greenery visible from the windows makes the French dining experience even more special. From amuse-bouche to appetizers, classic techniques and playfulness are perfectly blended, creating exciting flavors with each dish. The chilled soup made with fresh onions from Awaji Island stands out for its sweetness, and the hidden salad underneath adds a delightful texture. The meat dish chosen for the main course is moist and juicy, with a herbaceous sauce that enhances the umami of the ingredients. It is a French dining experience worth visiting, even if it means navigating narrow roads, leaving both the heart and stomach satisfied.

While enjoying the nature along the river, I was able to leisurely savor a variety of sweetfish dishes. The sweetfish caught from the live well is cooked immediately, resulting in tender flesh and a delightful aroma. I was satisfied with the various cooking methods, including sashimi, salt-grilled, fried, fish paste, simmered, and even a finishing rice porridge. The bones come out easily, making it easy to eat, and the slightly bitter innards were just right, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. It was served piping hot, and the rice porridge, in particular, was steaming and warmed my body. With air conditioning and fans, I was able to spend my time comfortably and slowly.
