Exquisite Japanese cuisine and soba in a traditional farmhouse
"Sato no Chaya Fudo" is a serene Japanese dining establishment housed in a historic 120-year-old renovated farmhouse. The hand-made soba is crafted using specially selected buckwheat flour sourced from contracted farmers in the Kamikawa region, offering a dish with great texture and rich aroma. The restaurant also places a strong emphasis on desserts, with the traditional kuzukiri being particularly recommended for its pure Japanese flavor. In the evening, the rustic interior, featuring warm wooden elements, provides a relaxing atmosphere for visitors.
With just one bite, the deep richness and aroma of the sauce spreads, bringing happiness. The umami is strong, and when paired with rice, it's hard to stop eating. I'm glad that I can adjust the aroma and spiciness to my liking with the spices on the table. The hamburger was overflowing with juices from the meat, making it very juicy. The cutlet was crispy, and eating it with the sauce naturally brings a smile. The calm atmosphere and subtle attentiveness make it very comfortable.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant, and I was captivated by the view of salmon drying outside the window. There were options for Japanese cuisine such as tempura rice bowls, eel, and udon, which were enjoyable just to look at. I chose the Matsukado set, and each item, from the vinegared dishes to the fried eggplant and simmered tofu, had a careful flavor. The fried chicken coated in a sweet sauce and the fried scallops were also impressive. The dish with golden pork had a melting texture, and I was very satisfied. The staff kindly explained about the salmon, and there was a refined aftertaste that reminded me of Kyoto.

The employees working in the restaurant are very warm and attentive. The restaurant has many counters, which makes it easy to enter even if you come to eat yakiniku alone. In addition to meat, the restaurant also serves udon, soba, and ramen noodles, which are very tasty. The menu also includes meat parts that I have never heard of, such as crocodile meat, which is very enjoyable.
