The chef, a graduate of Kobe's Jean Moulin and Le Passage, offers classic style cuisine assembled with seasonal and local Kawachi ingredients. Courses are left to you, and each dish has many portions, offering excellent value for money. You can also enjoy wines from the local Katashimo Winery in Kashiwara City.

The grilled eel, cooked to a fluffy perfection, is fragrant and brings happiness from the very first bite. The sauce is not too heavy, and I appreciate being able to adjust the flavor with both Kanto-style and Kansai-style additional sauce to suit my preference. Hitsumabushi can be enjoyed by changing the flavor with condiments and broth, keeping it interesting until the very end. The broth has a rich umami flavor, which pairs perfectly with the eel. The aroma of ground sansho pepper wafts up, further stimulating the appetite. The interior is clean, and the staff's service is pleasant, and having a stamp card is also a nice bonus.

I am always impressed by the freshness and flavor of the fish. The swordtip squid, yellowtail, and bonito sashimi are especially excellent. The octopus is also a specialty served in a moving state and has a wonderful texture. The rice topped with homemade iwanori seaweed is so delicious that you can eat as many servings as you want. The wait staff is energetic, friendly, and very comfortable. This restaurant is a great place to enjoy delicious seafood dishes on a budget while being in a hole-in-the-wall location.

The chicken hot pot, in particular, has a rich broth and perfectly textured meat that pair exceptionally well, making it hard to put down my chopsticks until the end. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, bringing happiness with every bite. The selection of sake is also extensive, and it's delightful to encounter brands I didn't know before. Although it's a hidden gem in a quiet location, the conversations over the counter and the delicious food allow you to relax and forget about time.

You can relax in a calm café located in an old traditional house. The set meals are all made with care, and I couldn't stop using my chopsticks. The crispy fried foods are light, and the fried fish is surprisingly fragrant. The miso soup, rich in dashi, is comforting and delicious. The snacks are also plentiful, with tarts, roll cakes, donuts, and cheesecakes, all of which are delicious. The carrot cake, fragrant with spices, and the time spent with tea is very happy.
