Appearance
Ueda Shoten, a 5-minute walk from Kintetsu Harinakano Station, is a gibier yakiniku restaurant with an undisclosed telephone number. It is a veiled restaurant where you have to be acquainted with the owner to make a reservation. I was introduced to the restaurant by an acquaintance .
Interior
The retro, homey interior has an L-shaped counter and a small tatami room. The Showa-era atmosphere that wafts through the air makes you feel nostalgic. This time, we were seated at the counter where we could watch the food being prepared. Now, let's eat.

Carp sashimi
I will introduce them in no particular order. You may be surprised, right? I have never eaten carp in the first place, and even more so for sashimi. I was skeptical, but when I put it in my mouth... it was delicious. The crunchy texture characteristic of freshwater fish is combined with a crispy flavor. I looked for a fish similar to it, but could not find it.... It was a moment that added a new page to my life.

Wild boar roast
A juicy loin with sweet fat that overturns the concept of wild boar meat. It is delicious.

Wild boar shoulder loin. Compared to beef, it has more lean meat and is healthy and crunchy.
Duck loin
The attack of rare ingredients never stops. It was more filling than the duck meat we have eaten so far.... It was more hearty than it looked and overflowed with meatiness. It is full of fat as well. It is the best duck meat I have ever eaten.
Morning Ground Chicken Assortment
Next is the chicken. After tasting the standard thigh (in the back), I tried the back liver (in the front), a rare part of chicken. This was the first time for me to try grilled back liver, even if it was grilled chicken on a skewer. The creamy flavor was still there. It was delicious.
Beef Harami
Just when you think you've had it, you enter the beef zone. The thick meaty jalami has an irresistible crunchy texture.
Sagari (beef saggeri)
The whole sagari, which only weighs about 800 grams from one cow, is served in its entirety. Even with this much lean meat left, you can easily bite through it. It is so tender. Sagari is said to have little taste of meat. Let's eat it with sauce or salt. It is delicious.
Assorted Hormones
I was already full, but the meat that looked like a main dish appeared. Tecchan (I had it a while ago), senmai (senmai hammy), and mino (mino) are delicious. I finished it somehow.... The meat was well prepped and easy to eat with no smell.

Deer's ○ balls
The strongest delicacy appeared at the last minute. It tastes like raw liver and is extremely delicious. However, when I imagine it sliced into rounds, it is a bit tough lol. This is the end of the introduction of the dishes. There were some kimchi and other appetizers, so you have to be very prepared to finish this course.
Drinks
Another attraction is that all-you-can-drink is included in the course. And you can drink as many bottles of wine as you want. It's a great deal.

Only ¥15,000 per person. Considering the level of satisfaction and the impact of the experience, I would say it is reasonable.

In terms of "impact," this was the number one restaurant in the history of this author. The menu changes with the seasons, but it never wavers from its axis of "rare yakiniku. The owner's "gibier talk" is very strong, and you can enjoy it if you sit at the counter. Ueda Shoten" is a famous restaurant with an undisclosed phone number. It was great♂️
