Tanaka Sake Brewery is a small brewery, and the owner is both the head of the brewery and the toji (master brewer). We were guided through the brewery, and the owner was an excellent conversationalist. After the tour of the brewery, we returned to the restaurant, where pitchers of sake were served for self-tasting. Everyone drank as much sake as they wanted and bought the sake they liked while listening to the explanation. In addition to sake, the shop also sold a variety of snacks and souvenirs unique to Koka City.
