When I entered the restaurant, I was excited to be greeted by a wall full of menus and the sound of Chinese singing. First, I ordered baijiu, and I was surprised by its strong aroma and refreshing aftertaste. The stir-fried pea shoots and wood ear mushrooms were beautifully colorful, and the crunchiness was excellent. Next, the oyster mapo tofu I ordered had a wonderful combination of umami and spiciness that made it hard to put down my chopsticks. The handmade dumplings and spicy stir-fried offal released juices with every bite, making them perfect as snacks. With a selection ranging from Chinese liquor to whiskey, this lovely restaurant also offers the fun of trying different pairings with the dishes.

The accompanying soup had a gentle flavor, and the radish was soft and comforting. The Pad Thai and Tom Yum noodles could be seasoned to my liking with chili vinegar and fish sauce, which was fun. It was also smooth and helpful to be able to order from my smartphone at the table.
