Since I made a reservation, I was guided immediately upon arrival.
The sashimi runs out quickly, so I would like to have the plates changed to larger ones.
Since the time is 60 minutes, if the replenishment of dishes is slow, there won't be enough time to eat.
I was told by the staff that the scallops need to be started 10 minutes before opening.
This time, there was no salmon.
At 1650 yen, the cost performance is the best.

The ingredients are just delicious.
The price may be two to three times that of a typical reasonably priced chain sushi restaurant, but the taste is five to ten times more satisfying.
I can't come here often, but I use it just fine for an occasional indulgence.
I will continue to use this restaurant in the future.

Kishu-mae Sushi using local products @ Wakayama Kamitonda | Happy to eat good food♪
When I travel, I want to eat local food there!
I went to a restaurant in Wakayama where you can eat sushi made with local products!
Sushi Yoshida
The name on the curtain says "Wakamatsuya," but the restaurant is divided inside.
To the right is Wakamatsuya, a casual restaurant.
On the left is Sushi Yoshida, which has 6 seats at the counter and is by reservation only.
I didn't expect the restaurant to be separated inside, so it was like a hideout, known only to those in the know!
The table napkins are beautifully folded and gorgeous!
I think it's rare to see such a thing at a sushi restaurant.
Omakase" is the menu for 12,000 yen!
We are very much looking forward to the omakase menu, which uses local products from Wakayama!
Toast: White wine W Fabre Chablis 7,000 yen
It has a moderate acidity and a refreshing feeling, and goes well with meals!
Yuba Yam Yam on top of Oma Sea Urchin
The owner's senior cooks it specially for him.
It is very smooth and elegant!
The sweetness of the sea urchin and the tangy accent of the wasabi are very good!
The wasabi is very creamy!
This is a hot topic these days!
A special grating board for Wasabi "Kouzame"!
Look carefully! Do you see the word "Wasabi"?
If you do it here, the wasabi becomes fluffy and creamy!
If you look closely, you can see that some of it says "wasabi"!
I spotted it right away!
First, we started with the entrée!
Sagi!
It's so crunchy and soft!
I guess this is what you mean when you say it's comfortable to chew!
Horse mackerel
It looks light, but when you eat it, you can feel the fat.
It goes great with fresh ginger.
Mochigatsuo
This is a rare bonito that is only available in Wakayama at this time of year.
It's so fast that the only way to eat it raw is to eat it locally!
On this day, the fish was landed at 15:00!
Contrary to its reddish color, the taste is light and has no fishy smell at all!
However, the elasticity of the fish is so firm that it bounces off your teeth!
The local way to eat it is with ginger soy sauce or onion ponzu!
Either way, it was delicious!
I had never had bonito like this before and immediately wanted to try it again!
■Katsuo Tataki
Mochigatsuo Tataki (bonito tataki) from earlier.
The aroma is delicious because of the added savory flavor!
I had this one with a dash of salt and plenty of wasabi!
Hiokigawa Natural Eel
I didn't know that eels could be caught in Wakayama!
I'm sorry to be so rude, but I was honestly surprised!
It was fluffy and fatty, and the sauce was light and easy to eat!
Nodoguro TKG
A little rice, a dragon egg from Oita Prefecture, seared nodoguro (a type of tuna), fluffy wasabi, and a little bit of rice mixed with the wasabi! The soft and tender Nodoguro tuna, and the rich egg wrapped around it.......fainting in agony, happy~!
Hamo Salt Ramen
The broth made by simmering nodoguro, kinmedai (sea bream), and ishiki (hamo char) is clear and you can taste the minerals in it!
I was shocked because I never thought I would be served authentic ramen at a sushi restaurant!
I was relieved to find that I was just in the mood for something hot!
Shako
A plump and firm shrimps!
I don't get a chance to eat them very often, so they are very rare and precious!
Ginger
This is a thick type, and when you chew it, you can enjoy its tangy and ginger-like taste.
The nigiri you've been waiting for!
◼︎Squid with soy sauce and liver
◼︎Umameiro
◼︎ mackerel with garlic on top!
◼︎Yokowa
◼︎Akagai
◼︎ tiger prawn
◼︎Kodai
◼︎Ohma sea urchin
◼︎Sweet sea bream
◼︎Tachi fish No.1 in Wakayama landings
◼︎Iwashi
◼︎Yokowa-zuke tuna dipped in tuna joints
Shari is rice with red vinegar one grain at a time and a strong presence
The acidity is mild and very easy to eat!
They put a little bit of Wakayama's vinegar in it.
The size allows you to enjoy the neta as well!
The first squid was served with liver soy sauce, and the deep flavor hit me!
Umeiro is a fish I had never heard of, but it is rare even in Wakayama!
It is very soft and has a slight sweetness!
Yokowa is served as it is at first, and then pickled at the end.
It's the same thing, but it gives you a different taste!
Oma's sea urchin is already creamy and delicious!
Of the nigiri, the best of the day was the sardine!
The sardines were finely cut into small pieces, so they were soft and fluffy when you put them in your mouth!
You can't feel any of the fine bones that are characteristic of the sea urchin, and it's so delicious!
◼︎ Fugu Shirako (blowfish milt) TKG
Geeaaaah! It's the second TKG of the day!
Today's second TKG - a large puffer fish milt, lightly boiled and served with a dragon egg and wasabi!
Dragon eggs and wasabi!
Mixed together so generously, it's so thick you'd think you were eating risotto!
This is a foul!
We were told to stop at the halfway mark, so we stopped crying!
Oh, my God! Then, sea urchin was added!
This is no good! This is agony level!
Too delicious, too happy, too bad! This is the ultimate TKG!
◼︎ Aka Dashi
Gentle taste with ao and shijimi seaweed.
Forgot to take a picture...
◼︎Makimono Negitoro (Negi Toro)
Negi (green onion) is left as long and slender as possible.
According to the owner, the main role of Negitoro is the green onion!
Of course, there is the taste of Toro, but the crunchiness and crunchiness of the green onion can be felt directly and is delicious!
Maki Maki - Shiso Roll
The dish ended with a refreshing shiso maki!
It was already so delicious and very satisfying!
I think 12,000 yen for this number of items is unbeatable!
Thank you for having locally produced food at your destination!
The owner's hospitality is very much appreciated, and his explanations are so detailed that you can't help but listen to them!
I am always curious about things I hear and see for the first time!
The distance of the counter is what makes this space so special.
I'm not used to this kind of restaurant, so I get a little nervous, but I was able to enjoy myself from start to finish thanks to the friendliness of the owner!
I hope I can come again someday.
Thank you for the food!

The top of a tree is a special seat! @Wakayama Kamitonda | Delicious food and happiness♪
BayBerryCafe opened on June 21!
We visited the pre-opening!
Thank you!
The location is next to Kamitonda Sports Center
It's a bit far from the station, so I guess you need a car to get there.
The inside of the store has a natural atmosphere.
There are flowers and greenery here and there, so you can relax.
And then there is the terrace.
I heard that you can have a barbecue here.
A nice place is here!
Up the stairs, there is a nice seat just for 4 people!
It's on top of a tree!
And this tree!
It is a "Yamamomo", the local tree of Kamitonda!
Look! You see the red berries?
With permission, I tried to eat one...
I thought they were sour, but they were surprisingly sweet!
It's nice to take in something locally grown!
The owner of this shop is from here!
Made from local products, syrup.
Drinks made with this would be delicious!
Since this is a pre-opening, we received some of their recommended products!
■Tapioca drink
Tapioca drinks are all the rage in Osaka, Kobe, and Kyoto, and there are plenty of stores, but not yet in Wakayama Prefecture!
But here's some good news for people in Wakayama Prefecture!
You can get fresh tapioca drinks here!
From left to right: brown sugar, protein, yamamomo, green tea, and milk tea.
The protein drink is placed next to the sports center.
The cups are generously sized and filled with chunky tapioca!
The yamamomo was especially delicious!
Tapioca Bayberry Shaved Ice
Fluffy milk shaved ice!
The top is filled with yamamomo (Japanese yam) syrup and the bottom is filled with tapioca!
This yamamomo is not too sweet and not too sour, so it is very tasty!
The ice is soft and fluffy, not sharp, so I'm sure many people will be ordering it this coming season!
Chocolate Banana Pancakes
Mango Cheese Pancakes
Both pancakes are three thin pancakes stacked on top of each other!
Even though they are thin, they are beautifully browned, fluffy, and have a milky flavor.
The chocolate banana pancake is a classic, but the mango cheese pancake is tropical and rich and creamy with plenty of cheese cream and fruit.
Seasonal Fruit Parfait
Grapes are the main fruit at this time of year, but there is always something new to enjoy each season!
The skin of a bear with a chocolate face on it!
So cute!
I'm sure your kids will love it!
The volume of the parfait is quite large, but you won't get tired of eating it until the end!
I think that's the most important thing in a parfait!
Amazing! It's fun and full of attractive sweets!
I'm sure there are a lot of people who have been looking forward to this kind of cafe for a long time!
I don't know the specifics of the menu since it hasn't opened yet, but I'm sure it will be a wonderful café!
It is only a 15-minute drive from Shirahama Station, so you can go there on your way home from an adventure, or you can combine your visit with any other trip since it is only a 20-minute drive from Shirahama Beach!
It will be a hot spot this summer!
Thanks for the food!

Toretore Seafood Barbecue is a unique barbecue venue where you can enjoy fresh seafood purchased from the market right on the spot. It is located within a pleasant roadside station, making it easy to visit. In addition to local Wakayama ingredients, there is also a wide variety of high-quality seafood from other prefectures, allowing you to savor a range of flavors.
At the Italian restaurant, every dish is carefully prepared and delicious. The omelet, in particular, is fluffy and brings happiness with every bite. The cold capellini highlights the sweetness of the potatoes and corn, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. The beef steak has a ginger aroma that whets the appetite, and the accompanying vegetables are also flavorful and satisfying. The squid carpaccio has a good balance of salt and acidity, with a strong umami flavor. The cheerful chef's service is pleasant, and conversations with family flow naturally with smiles.
In a house restaurant standing in a residential area, opening the door envelops you in a gentle atmosphere. The courses are served at just the right pace, and before you know it, you feel a pleasant sense of satisfaction. The dishes that utilize the blessings of Wakayama are rich in aroma, and I especially cannot forget the early mikan risotto. The venison grilled over charcoal is concentrated in flavor, making it enjoyable even for those trying game for the first time. The freshly baked focaccia is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, making it hard to resist reaching for more. The wine cellar is well-stocked, and the time spent finding a bottle that pairs well with the food while consulting with the staff was delightful.
