This is a salt warabi mochi made using homemade salt carefully prepared from seawater sourced from the coast, just a 3-minute walk from Kaike Onsen. The soybean flour used is made from the local variety 'Kamikura Soybean' from Misasa Town in Tottori Prefecture. The rich flavor of Kamikura Soybean, known for its strong taste and high nutritional value, enhances the sweetness when combined with the homemade salt. Additionally, the warabi mochi is blended with brown sugar from Hateruma Island in Okinawa Prefecture, giving the mochi a deep richness and elegant sweetness. This is our proud specialty, harmonizing the flavors of saltiness, sweetness, and soybean.
