A hidden gem of Japanese-French cuisine

DAIJO is a hidden restaurant in Karasuma where you can quietly enjoy Japanese-French cuisine. The master runs the establishment alone, and the style of enjoying fresh sashimi with salt is particularly impressive. They cherish seasonal ingredients, allowing you to savor light and healthy dishes to your heart's content. Once you visit, the calm atmosphere and warm service will surely make you want to return.

I love the Karasuma area and this restaurant is my favorite. The only drawback is that it is difficult to get a reservation, but the food is very good. I look forward to each visit because they offer course meals using seasonal ingredients. It was my first experience to have sashimi with salt, and I was very impressed. Even though the master runs the restaurant by himself, he is very friendly and we had a great time. It is a restaurant where you can spend a relaxing time and the atmosphere is like a hideout.

9,600 yen course
