Wa is a cosy sushi kappo restaurant open on Sundays near Azabu Juban station. Sashimi, a la carte dishes, and nigiri (hand-rolled sushi) are available for ¥3,800, and the ¥6,000 course includes your choice of nigiri, sashimi, and a few other dishes. The restaurant is run by a small couple with a counter seating for 8 and a table. The prices are reasonable because they purchase only the best seasonal ingredients. The fact that they do not have all of the items you would like in the okonomiyaki course is also a wonderful effort to keep the prices down. And the work is done with care. The lightly finished Akinoto fish was packed with umami flavor. This is also a restaurant where you can say what you want. A big, plump myoga was in the showcase and looked delicious! I wanted to add a little sesame oil, shiso leaves, and sesame seeds to the ponzu (Japanese citrus juice), and they were happy to accommodate my order, which I would have been told to make at home. The rice is small, so it is suitable for two girls or a mature couple. Boys should definitely go to Takumi on the upper floor to finish off their meal. You can spend a gentle time with the personality of the owner and his wife. On weekdays, the cute part-timers will make you feel at home.

Sushi kappo, "Wa" is the place to go on days when you want to relax and enjoy a light meal of sushi, sashimi, or an entrée. It is a reasonably priced restaurant with a nice atmosphere located quietly in the basement near Azabu-juban station. One person can drink and eat for about 7,000 yen. It can be used for a date. The owner runs the restaurant by himself and carefully selects delicious and reasonable seasonal ingredients to offer at a reasonable price. The appetizer is a large bai clam and white fish. Sashimi includes sardines, Hiramasa, Hirame, tunas, and red clams that are just starting to become tasty. The grilled dish is a selection of smoked sockeye salmon flounder. It is delicious and not too fatty. And baby corn, which is almost out of season. The nigiri was a small rice ball, which I like. The kombujime (kelp-jime) of the Thai fish was delicious. There are about five brands of sake that go well with the owner's favorite dishes. Wine is also available. Open on Sundays. Recommended for a Japanese food date.
