This café space is run by a long-loved tea wholesaler in Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture, the northernmost tea-producing area in Japan. At the back of the calm, modernized space of a traditional house, there is a 'secret tea room' accessible only to visitors, providing a sense of exclusivity. Guests can compare a variety of tea leaves with detailed explanations, and from the second cup onward, they can brew their own tea to experience the differences in temperature and steeping time in a semi-experiential style. Enjoying a cup alongside a selection of wagashi (Japanese sweets) or matcha parfait creates a blissful moment where tradition and innovation resonate.
