I was very satisfied to encounter the daily special tonteki. The thickly sliced meat has a nice chew to it, and the flavor is very pronounced. It comes with two small side dishes, allowing for a delightful change in taste. It pairs perfectly with white rice, and I couldn't stop eating. The seasoned seaweed, furikake, and pickles on the table were also a nice touch. I could really feel the charm of a casual dining place, and I had a pleasant meal.
The staff are very polite and responsive in Japanese, so I can order with peace of mind. The som tam has just the right level of spiciness, and the texture of the sakura shrimp and peanuts is excellent, making it very delicious. The green curry has a wonderful aroma, and the slight bitterness of the small Thai eggplants adds a nice accent, making it addictive. The pu pad pong curry is mellowed by the egg, making it easy to eat. The moo dad diaw is crispy and fragrant, and it's a snack that you can't help but keep eating.
